What do we mean by "Full Service Listings?"
Maryland Buyers and Sellers are often offered "low priced listing services" or "discounted listing services".
What does "discount" mean?
What the seller does not understand is what are they getting for that "discounted listing fee".
The Maryland listing company may provide limited services for that "discount listing fee". They may
put your home for sale on a "For Sale By Owner" web site that may not be seen by prospective
home buyers. Or, they may not provide you with lock box services meaning your home for
sale will only be seen by prospective buyers when you are at home. Many agents who are
working with serious home buyers will not always show homes that don't offer lock box access.
The Homefinders.com listing fee of 4% discounts only the fee, not the service.
Does the listing company offer Open House services?
Open house services are an important feature for our company. Many homes sell on the first
Open House opportunity. Homefinders.com pays for a prominent Open House ad in the
Washington Post to attract the largest number of potential home buyers to view your home
for sale.
Maryland MLS Listing
Many discount listing services do not have membership in the local MLS (MRIS). So, although
your home for sale may be listed on a web site, it will not get the extensive and comprehensive
exposure to buyers and buyers' agents that your home for sale in Maryland would get if it were
in the MLS. All of the homes that we list for sale will (with the seller's approval) be listed in the
MLS database within 48 hours of signing the listing agreement.

Your Homefinders.com agent will help you evaluate any offers received quickly and provide
you with a net sheet showing you what your proceeds of sale will be from each offer.
Attending Settlement Meeetings
Your Homefinders.com agent will be there with you at settlement. We will review the HUD-1
Settlement Statement with you so you understand any charges to the seller.
